mAadhaar App

The mAadhaar app is the official Aadhaar app released by UIDAI to give a platform for Aadhaar holders to carry their demographic data and photographs on their smartphones. A person with an Aadhaar card may add his profile to the app and access it whenever and wherever he wants. The software allows you to establish up to three Aadhaar profiles. The app is properly protected by the security password that the user must input each time the app is launched. This guarantees that no one other than the user has access to the Aadhaar data stored in the app.

How to Register in the Aadhar Card App

You must first add your profile to the mAadhaar app to utilize it. It is worth mentioning that the profile will be uploaded only if the Aadhaar mobile number is the same as the one used in the smartphone. To add your profile to m-Aadhaar, simply follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Launch the mAadhaar app.

Step 2: To access the app, enter your password.

Step 3: Next, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the interface.

Step 8: A one-time password (OTP) is issued to the registered cellphone number.

Step 9: The app recognizes the UIDAI SMS and inserts the OTP automatically.

Step 10: The app will save your Aadhaar information on your smartphone.

Step 11: You may use your Aadhaar card to access it at any time.

Step 12: The app automatically downloads both the front and back views of the Aadhaar.

How to Delete Your Profile in the mAadhar App

When you remove the sim card from your smartphone with an Aadhaar-linked mobile number, your profile in the mAadhaar app will be immediately erased. If you are updating your phone or changing your mobile connection, erase your profile and uninstall the mAadhaar app as a precaution before passing it over to someone else. Here’s how to deactivate your m-Aadhaar app profile:

Step 1: Launch the mAadhaar app.

Step 2: To log in, enter your password.

Step 3: Open your profile by clicking on it.

Step 4: Next, tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the program.

Step 5: Click the “Delete Profile” button.

Step 6: You will be prompted to enter your app’s password.

Step 7: A popup will appear asking if you are certain you want to remove the profile.

Step 8: Select “Yes.”

Step 9: Your mAadhaar app profile will be erased.

What is TOTP in Aadhar?

In some cases, the Aadhaar OTP is required to access certain services. However, you do not get the OTP on your registered cellphone number due to network or other difficulties. The Time-based OTP, which is only valid for 30 seconds, was introduced by UIDAI. Every 30 seconds, the TOTP is updated automatically. The user must have an active internet connection to utilize this service. Here’s how to utilize the TOTP with the mAadhaar app:

Step 1: Sign in to your mAadhaar app using your password.

Step 2: Locate and open your profile.

Step 3: In the lower half of the app, pick the “Show TOTP” option.

Step 4: A new screen with a six-digit TOTP will display.

Step 5: A clock keeps ticking for 30 seconds.

Step 6: As soon as 30 seconds have passed, the OTP is changed immediately.

Step 7: Your name and Aadhaar number may be found underneath the TOTP.

Benefits of the Application

The following are some of the benefits of the m-Aadhaar app:
