LIC of India Mutual Fund offers its customers a hassle-free and quick online investment process. The steps are mentioned below:

Step 1. Existing customers can log-in to their Groww account. New investors can register to utilise the facility of the service.

Step 2. Customers will be asked to upload a Government sanctioned identity proof, like Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, PAN, etc.

Step 3. They will also have to submit documents serving as proof of address. It is necessary under the KYC guidelines.

Step 4. After the necessary details are submitted, investors can select a preferred investment period from the available options.

Step 5. Select the investment plans as per risk appetite. They can choose between low, mid, or high-risk investments.

1. Mr. Sachin Relekar

Mr. Sachin Relekar serves as the Fund Manager of LIC MF Tax Plan, an equity-based saving scheme offering tax benefits. He is an alumnus of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, with more than 17 years of experience as an equity research analyst and business development.

Mr. Sachin Relekar joined LIC Mutual Fund in 2012, before which he was associated with Tata Asset Management Limited from 2007. He started his carer at Tech Pacific India Pvt. Limited in 2003 for business development of IT products.

Mr. Relekar currently handles Rs. 227 Crore in equity and debt-based investments.

2. Mr. Marzban Irani

Mr. Marzban Irani has over 19 years of experience as a Fund Manager at various Tier-I financial institutions across the country. Currently, he oversees the debt portfolio as the Fund Manager of LIC MF.

Mr. Irani has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, which propelled him into a career as a Fund Manager at Tata Asset Management Ltd. from 2000 to 2007. He shifted to Mirae Asset Management Ltd., undertaking the same role in 2008. Marzban Irani also worked with MetLife Insurance as Chief Manager till 2011.

Mr. Marzban Irani oversees investment options like LIC MF Bond Fund. It has maintained a CRISIL rank of 4 starts in the previous fiscal year, handling a fund of Rs. 265.96 Crore and a 1.07% expense ratio.

3. Mr. Rahul Singh

Mr. Rahul Singh is an alumnus of IIM Lucknow, with 23 years of experience behind him. He has been associated with Tata Asset Management as Chief Investment Officer of Equities and with Ampersand Capital as Managing Partner. Prior to that, he worked with Standard Chartered Securities and Citigroup Global Markets India as a business development lead and asset manager.

Mr. Singh oversees LIC Mutual Funds Liquid Fund scheme. He handles funds of Rs. 8801.21 Crore including G-Sec Long Term ETF and Series 1,2, and 3 CPOF.

4. Yogesh Patil

Mr. Yogesh Patil was appointed as the Fund Manager for LIC MF Multicap Fund, LIC MF Banking & Financial Services Fund, LIC MF Index Sensex, LIC MF Index Nifty, LIC MF Equity Hybrid Fund, LIC MF Debt Hybrid Fund and LIC MF Children’s Gift Fund on October 2018. He is one of the leading names in capital marketing, with over 16 years of experience in the Indian Equity Market.

Mr. Yogesh Patil completed his Master of Business Administration in 2001 from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management. He launched his career at Sahara Mutual Funds as an equity research analyst in 2006. In 2009, he shifted to Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited as an Analyst.

In 2018, Mr. Patil left Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited after working as a Senior Fund Manager (Equity). Currently, he handles Rs. 160.1 Crore as the Fund Manager for LIC MF Arbitrage Fund.

5. Saravana Kumar Ananthan

Mr. Saravana Kumar Ananthan is the Chief Investment Officer at LIC Mutual Funds. He oversees LIC MF Equity, LIC MF Balanced, LIC MF MIP, LIC MF Children’s Gift Fund, LIC MF Banking & Financial Services Fund, LIC MF Index Sensex and LIC MF Index Nifty. He is an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management and has completed CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Bankers.

Mr. Saravana Kumar was associated with companies like Trust Investment Advisors Pvt Ltd., Tata AIA Life Insurance, ICICI Bank, SBI Mutual Funds, and UTI Mutual Funds. He has over 25 years of experience with him in the sector of investment management. He also completed Management Development Programme on Financial Markets at Merrill Lynch New York in 2007 and has worked as a guest faculty of the Institute of Financial Management Research.

6. Shri Raj Kumar

Shri Raj Kumar joined as a whole time director for LIC MF in April 2017. A veteran of the industry market, Raj Kumar has more than 32 years of experience behind him and climbed the ranks in Life Insurance Corporation of India from being a zonal manager of Bhopal to the director of operations.

Mr. Kumar will handle assets of over Rs. 24,475 Crore as of March 31st. LIC mutual fund is presently listed as number 17th in the industry thanks to the careful handling of its different operations.
