Invesco Mutual Fund

Invesco, a US-based fund house, entered India back in 2013 in partnership with Religare Securities Ltd. to form Religare Invesco Asset Management Co. Ltd. The former owned a 49% stake in the asset management company, with the rest being held by the latter.

In 2016, Invesco bought the remaining 51% of shareholding owned by the co-sponsor Religare and renamed it as Invesco Mutual Fund. The company is a trust set up under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 and registered with SEBI under the registration code MF/052/06/01 dated 05 May 2006.

With a rich experience spanning over 20 years in the Indian equity markets, Amit is currently serving as a Fund Manager - Equity with effect from 3rd September 2020. He was earlier handling the PMS equity management function at Invesco asset management (India) Pvt. Limited. Prior to joining Invesco, Amit was working with Essel Mutual Fund as Head of Equities where he was responsible for the Equity Funds management function at the firm. He has also worked with companies like BNP Paribas Investment Partners, BNP Paribas Mutual Fund, SBI Funds Management & Reliance Industries Ltd in the past. Amit holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from IIT Roorkee and a PGDBM from IIM Indore.

2. Mr. Dhimant Kothari

Dhimant has an experience of 15 years in financial and equity research and is currently serving as ‘Fund Manager’ at Invesco. In his last assignment, Dhimant was working as Senior Manager - Research with Credit Analysis & Research Ltd., where he was handling the analysis and preparation of research reports on various industries and companies. Apart from that, his other assignments entail Lotus India Asset Management and CRISIL Ltd., where he was responsible for analyzing companies across various sectors and preparing research reports. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Commerce degree.

3. Mr. Neelesh Dhamnaskar

Neelesh is a part of the equity investment team at Invesco and serves the firm as ‘Fund Manager’. He has more than 15 years of experience in equity research and the financial services domain. Prior to joining Invesco, Neelesh was working with Enam (now a part of Axis Bank) where he was tracking companies across sectors and assisting the PMS Fund Manager in his investment decisions. Prior to that, he was working with KRC, a domestic broking house, tracking companies within the automobiles, metals and sugar sector. Neelesh has also worked with Anand Rathi Securities Limited as a Commodities Research Analyst. 4. Mr. Nitin Gosar

With an experience of 15 years in equity research, Nitin is currently serving as ‘Fund Manager’ at Invesco. Prior to joining Invesco, Nitin was working as Research Analyst with IFCI Financial Services where he was responsible for tracking pharma and agriculture-related companies. In the past, Nitin has worked with Batlivala & Karani Securities, tracking companies in the pharma sector.
