About Rocking Deals Circular Economy

Rocking Deals Circular Economy Ltd has operated as a B2B re-commerce entity since 2005. The company specializes in bulk trading of excess inventory, open-boxed items, re-commerce, and refurbished products across diverse categories, including small home appliances, apparel, kitchenware, household goods, speakers, mobile accessories, and large appliances. Brands such as Samsung, Thomson, MI, LG, ZARA, Nike, Sony, JBL, and more are part of its product range. Rocking Deals CE acquires these products in bulk from various dealers, including Inalsa and Khaitan, and distributes them in bulk to clients such as Jindal Mega Mart, Brand Wala, VLE Bazaar Private Limited, HIC International, PSUAVI, KRAT India, Zazz Technology, and sister companies like Rocking Deals Private Limited, Rocking Deals (HYD) Private Limited, and Harkrishanji Products Private Limited. Rocking Deals CE has over 18 categories of SKUs, including electrical appliances from brands like Syska, Havells, LG, Panasonic, Usha, Crompton, Luminous, and Phillips, as well as apparel, footwear, speakers, mobiles, and accessories sourced from ecommerce vendors such as Snapdeal (Juscorp), affiliates of Flipkart and Amazon, and companies like GO Auto, Salora International, Zazz Technology Connect Private Limited, along with dealers and distributors like Matrix Housewares, Raj Agency, Sudhi Enterprises. While the company also engages in the B2C market, this constitutes a small fraction of total revenue, serving unorganized retailers who purchase products in large quantities.;

Strengths & Risks

  • Rocking Deals Circular Economy boasts a diverse product lineup, featuring 18 different Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) that meet the needs of various consumer segments.
  • From compact home appliances to televisions and accompanying accessories, the extensive portfolio ensures comprehensive coverage of consumer requirements.
  • Over the past two years, the company has expanded its product range by introducing new categories such as luggage, speakers, fans, laptops, desktops, and books. The focus remains on broadening the scope of the current product line, introducing both high-end and mid-segment products.
  • Procuring products directly from reputable manufacturers and Tier-1 dealers enables the company to obtain products at competitive prices.
  • In a strategic move, the company has partnered with SSL E-Waste Management LLP, holding a majority capital share of 50.01%. SSL, registered with the Haryana State Pollution Control Board, specializes in electronic waste management. The partnership aims to leverage SSL's expertise in environmentally responsible practices.
  • Rocking Deals CE manages surplus inventory within the B2B sector, a significant revenue contributor at 97.43% in 2022-23, 96.84% in 2021-22, and 99.94% in 2020-21. Key clients include Jindal Mega Mart, Brand Wala, VLE Bazaar Private Limited, HIC International, PSUAVI, KRAT India, and Zazz Technology.
  • Rocking Deals Circular Economy has provided Corporate Guarantees amounting to Rs. 5.66 crore as of June 30, 2023, concerning the credit facilities utilized by the promoter group company. However, there is no guarantee that the promoter group entity will not default in the future.
  • Much of Rocking Deals Circular Economy's revenue is derived from its top five customers, including Rockingdeals Private Limited, Harkrishanji Products Private Limited, and Rockingdeals (HYD) Private Limited (Promoter Group Companies). Any loss of business from these key customers may adversely affect the company's revenues and profitability.
  • Over the past three years, a substantial portion of the company's state-wise revenues has depended on Haryana. Specifically, Haryana contributed 48.73%, 74.13%, and 59.38% of revenues in 2023, 2022, and 2021, respectively. Adverse developments affecting operations in these states could negatively impact revenue and operational results.
  • The company lacks long-term agreements with suppliers, and any difficulty in procuring products of desired quality and quantity at acceptable prices may adversely affect business, profitability, and reputation.
  • Rocking Deals Circular Economy has entered into a partnership with SSL E-Waste Management LLP, and future reliance on their purchases is anticipated.
  • The company and its group entities are involved in certain legal proceedings, potential litigations, departmental notices, and tax proceedings. Adverse decisions in these proceedings may result in liabilities and penalties and negatively impact business and operational results.
  • Discrepancies and non-compliances have been observed in some corporate records related to forms filed with the Registrar of Companies and taxation authorities.
  • The potential presence of defective, counterfeit, or fake products poses a risk of liability issues and could harm the company's reputation.
